Gary L. Huusko has been practicing law since 1983. Gary is a registered Patent Attorney and practices Intellectual Property Law, which includes the areas of Patent and Trademark prosecution and protection, Copyrights, and Intellectual Property Licensing. Gary also practices in all areas of corporate transactional law, including corporate formation, purchase and sale of businesses, contract issues and general business advice.

Gary is active in both the Apple Valley and the Dakota County Regional Chambers of Commerce, and has served on the Board of Directors of both, serving as chair in 2001-02 and 2006-07, respectively. Gary is a Director on the Independent School District 196 Board of Education, and he is a member of the Advisory Board for the Institute for Business, Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Dakota County Technical College. Gary is active in the Eagan Rotary Club, is on the Eagan Rotary Club Board of Directors and is a past Assistant District Governor for Area 2 of Rotary District 5950. He is a past Chair of The Eagan Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors, a past member and chair of the Budget Advisory Counsel for Independent School District 196, a past President of the Apple Valley Rotary Club, a past Board member of the Northern Dakota County Chamber Foundation, and a past member and Chair of the Eagan Advisory Planning Commission.

Gary is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota, the United States Tax Court, and the Minnesota State Courts. He also serves on the Capital Facilities and Finance Commission of the Minnesota Conference of the United Methodist Church.
