July 22, 2014 | Terry Merritt Volunteers with Habitat for Humanity
Attorney Terry Merritt recently spent the day volunteering at a Habitat for Humanity project in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. The work consisted of installing overhangs for the roof, trusses and general carpentry. As an attorney, Terry has helped thousands of clients complete their estate plans, but he is also an active volunteer. He firmly believes in the importance of giving back to the community. He regularly volunteers through the Church of St. John Neumann and the Apple Valley Rotary Club, among other organizations.
About Terry Merritt
Terry has been in the practice of law since 1977. During that time his common thread of practice has been estate planning. Additionally, he is experienced in probate law, elder law, medical assistance, municipal law, boundary adjustment law, and mediation.
A life-long resident of Minnesota, growing up in the southwestern part of the state and attending both college and Law School in Minneapolis, Terry is active in local events from the Chambers of Commerce, Rotary and his Church. He remains active in sports, including basketball, golf and softball. His other hobbies include travel and photography. He is a past President of the Apple Valley Rotary Club.
