Overview

John R. Ose is an attorney with Dougherty, Molenda, Solfest, Hills & Bauer P.A. whose practice focuses primarily on estate planning and probate. He helps individuals and families develop practical, tailored plans designed to protect loved ones and carry out their goals, including wills, trusts, health care directives, powers of attorney, and related planning tools.

Before joining the firm, John served as a judicial clerk in Washington County District Court in the chambers of the Honorable Sheridan Hawley, where he drafted decisions and orders in civil, probate, and family matters and assisted with case management, discovery disputes, settlement conferences, and trials.

John earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 2024. In law school, he received the Dean’s Award as the top student in Trusts, Wills, and Basic Estate Planning, and he was recognized as an Edward F. Hennessy Distinguished Scholar based on his third-year academic performance.
