Attorney Bob Bauer Elected to Chair Minnesota Client Security Board
Attorney Bob Bauer began his term as Chairperson for the Minnesota Client Security Board on July 1, 2015 following his election to that office on June 15, 2015. Mr. Bauer has been a member of the Board since 2013. He was nominated to the Board by the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Minnesota Supreme Court approved the nomination.
The Client Security Board administers the Client Security Fund, which was established by the Minnesota Supreme Court to aid parties who suffer a loss because of dishonest conduct on the part of a lawyer during the course of an attorney-client relationship.
The fund may reimburse up to $150,000 for dishonest conduct committed by a Minnesota lawyer.
Mr. Bauer is a shareholder with Dougherty, Molenda, Solfest, Hills & Bauer P.A. in Apple Valley, Minnesota.

Bob has been repeatedly named to the Minnesota Superlawyers list by SuperLawyers Magazine, and he was selected by Minnesota Lawyer as a Minnesota Attorney of the Year for his work assisting clients in obtaining a $22,685,638.08 judgment against the principals of the Investment Properties of Minnesota (“IPM”) corporate entities.
