Attorney Loren Solfest Appointed by Dakota County Attorney

Loren Solfest has been appointed to the Dakota County Law Library Board of Trustees. The Dakota County Law Library’s mission is to provide adequate and timely legal information to the judiciary, governmental employees, the members of the bar and the citizens of Dakota County, in the form most comprehensible to all types of users, bearing in mind that ready and convenient access to such information is vital to the justice system of a democratic society. Its mission is also to collaborate with existing organizations to maximize the delivery of legal information and to avoid costly and ineffective duplication, using information technology to deliver legal information wherever financially feasible and acceptable to users.
About Loren
Loren is certified as a Real Property Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association. He is also a qualified neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice, and has served as a mediator and arbitrator in numerous cases since 1997. Loren is licensed to practice law in the States of Minnesota and Wisconsin. He is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit; the United States District Court, District of Minnesota; and the United States District Court, Western District of Wisconsin. Loren has been repeatedly named to the Super Lawyers list and AV Peer Review Rated.
When he is not at work, Loren enjoys family and church activities, participating in various sports, attending his children’s musical, academic and sporting events and following the Fighting Irish.
