Attorney Loren Solfest Re-appointed to Scott-Carver-Dakota CAP Agency, Inc. Board Liaison to the Agency’s Head Start Policy Council

The firm’s lawyers serve the south metro community in a variety of ways. Loren Solfest volunteers his time as a member of the board of directors for the Community Action Partnership of Scott, Carver and Dakota Counties. The agency, known as “CAP,” plays an active role in serving the community and offers 26 programs and services to individuals of all ages living in Scott, Carver and Dakota counties.
Loren was recently re-appointed as board liaison to CAP’s Head Start Policy Council. He was also appointed to the search committee to hire a new president for CAP.

Loren Solfest is a managing shareholder and Vice-President of Dougherty, Molenda, Solfest, Hills & Bauer P.A. He heads the firm’s banking and business/commercial transactional and litigation law practice groups. He has been practicing law since 1986 and has an established practice in the areas of banking, commercial litigation, business and real estate law. He has successfully represented clients in a wide variety of transactions as well as matters in state and federal courts, at both the district and appellate court levels.
Loren is certified as a Real Property Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association. He is also a qualified neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice, and has served as a mediator and arbitrator in numerous cases since 1997. Loren is licensed to practice law in the States of Minnesota and Wisconsin. He is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit; the United States District Court, District of Minnesota; and the United States District Court, Western District of Wisconsin. Loren has been repeatedly named to the Super Lawyers list and AV Peer Review Rated.
When he is not at work, Loren enjoys family and church activities, participating in various sports, attending his children’s musical, academic and sporting events and following the Fighting Irish.
