September 22, 2014 | Matthew Schaap Appointed to Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce Board

Attorney Matthew Schaap has been appointed to a three-year term on the Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
“I am honored to serve on a chamber board that is dedicated to this community and to the businesses that make it such a great place to live,” Schaap said in a statement. “I am excited to join with community leaders who already work tirelessly to connect chamber businesses to customers in Apple Valley and around the State of Minnesota.”
The city of Apple Valley has been home to DMSHB for more than 25 years. DMSHB has grown with the city and continues to provide practical solutions and cutting-edge advocacy from its suburban office. “I think many people who find us here are surprised that we are so close and have 17 lawyers who practice in so many different areas of the law,” Schaap said. “We love our roots South of the River and look forward to exciting times ahead for our firm and for this community.”
As a testament to the vision and direction provided by city leaders and community partners, Apple Valley has repeatedly been recognized for its quality of life, including being named by Money Magazine as one of the best places to live in the United States.

Matthew Schaap is a litigation and trial attorney who assists clients with a variety of personal and business disputes.
In addition to serving clients, he currently serves as Board Secretary for Community Dental Care, a non-profit dental clinic that serves low income patients from clinics in Maplewood, St. Paul, Rochester and now Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Matthew also serves as President of the Rosemount Rotary Club in Rosemount, Minnesota.
He lives in Apple Valley with his wife Kathryn and their two children.
