Cares Act
Significant legislation to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Trump on March 27, 2020. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“the CARES Act”) authorizes more than $2 trillion to fight COVID-19 and its impact on our economy. It provides cash relief for individual citizens, loan programs for small businesses, support for hospitals and other medical providers, and various types of economic relief for impacted businesses.
